HOSPITALITY & LEISURE
Security that fits around busy hospitality operations
Every hospitality and leisure venue operates differently. Innovative Security Solutions begins by understanding the practical realities of the site, including how guests and customers move through the venue, where staff experience pressure, which areas need controlled access, when issues are most likely to arise and how visible the security presence should be.
From there, we shape the security arrangement around the venue and the way it is run. That may mean a permanent presence, support at particular times, patrols, monitoring or an agreed out-of-hours response, with the level of visibility and intervention matched to the environment.
Our officers are employed directly by Innovative Security Solutions. We do not rely on subcontracted guarding. That gives us greater control over recruitment, training, site familiarisation, supervision and the standards delivered on site, while helping officers become familiar with the venue, its normal routines and the level of guest-facing presence expected.
WHERE WE SUPPORT HOSPITALITY & LEISURE
Security shaped around different guest-facing environments
Hospitality and leisure cover a wide range of operating environments. The security requirement may be very different from one venue to another, so we look at how each site is used, where security support is needed and what level of presence fits the way the venue operates.
Hotels & resorts
We support guest-facing areas, reception, accommodation floors, restaurants and leisure facilities, alongside back-of-house areas and out-of-hours operations.
Aparthotels & serviced accommodation
We support entrances, visitor access, deliveries, shared areas and out-of-hours requirements where staffing levels and operating patterns vary across the day.
Restaurants & dining venues
We support busy customer periods, front-of-house activity, staff support, closing procedures and areas where an additional security presence is required.
Leisure, fitness & wellness
We support member and customer access, reception areas, shared facilities, staff-only spaces, external areas and periods where fewer operational staff are present.
Visitor attractions & destination venues
We support public-facing areas, entrances, visitor movement, restricted areas, external spaces and changing levels of activity across the venue.
Hospitality & leisure groups
We support multi-site operators with consistent operating standards, supervision and reporting across the portfolio, while adapting deployment and site instructions to each location.
GUEST-FACING SECURITY
A security presence that fits the environment
The right security presence will look different in a hotel lobby, restaurant, leisure facility or visitor destination. Innovative Security Solutions looks at where officers need to be positioned, how visible they need to be, where a more discreet presence is appropriate and what they are expected to do when an issue develops.

INCIDENT RESPONSE & STAFF SUPPORT
Support when a guest or customer issue becomes a security matter
Most day-to-day guest and customer issues will be handled by venue staff. Our officers step in where behaviour becomes difficult, staff need support, access needs to be controlled or an incident requires a security response. They work to the agreed site procedures, know when to involve management or emergency services and make sure incidents are properly reported.
Calm, proportionate intervention
Our officers assess what is happening and take action appropriate to the situation, with the aim of restoring control without unnecessarily increasing tension around guests, customers or staff.
Supporting staff when behaviour becomes difficult
Where venue staff are dealing with aggression, threatening behaviour, refusal to leave or another security concern, officers can provide an immediate security presence and follow the agreed response arrangements.
Escalation, handover & reporting
Where further action is required, officers involve the appropriate venue contact, control room, police or other emergency services in line with the agreed procedure, and record what happened for the relevant client team.
RELEVANT SERVICES & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Security services matched to how the venue operates
The right mix may combine a professional front-of-house presence with guarding, patrols, CCTV or an agreed out-of-hours response. We look at where staff need support, how guest-facing and back-of-house areas operate, when security is required and what level of presence or response is appropriate.
CCTV & Remote Monitoring
CCTV can provide additional oversight of entrances, reception areas, corridors, car parks and other parts of the venue. Where remote monitoring forms part of the arrangement, suspicious activity or incidents can be identified and escalated through the agreed response procedure.

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Support behind the on-site security team
Where officers are deployed, the service is supported by our control room, supervision and agreed reporting and escalation arrangements. For hospitality and leisure groups, we can also coordinate standards across multiple locations while keeping site instructions specific to each venue.
Control room support
Our control room provides an operational point of contact for officers, including welfare checks, incident escalation and support when an incident requires further action or escalation.
Supervision & site checks
Our supervisors and managers remain involved in the live service, checking officer performance, deployment, site instructions and whether the security arrangement continues to meet the needs of the venue.
Emergency & evacuation procedures
All our officers are briefed on the venue’s emergency and evacuation procedures, including agreed routes, assembly arrangements, key contacts and the role security is expected to support during an incident.
Venue & group coordination
Our designated managers stay in contact with the relevant venue or group contacts so any operational changes, access arrangements and temporary requirements are reflected in the service. For multi-site clients, consistent standards and reporting can be maintained across locations while keeping site instructions specific to each venue.
Reporting & incident visibility
Incidents, actions and service activity records are reported to the relevant client contacts. Any recurring issues are raised where they indicate that deployment, patrols or other parts of the security arrangement may need to change.

Let’s look at what your venue needs from security
If you are reviewing security for a hotel, resort, serviced accommodation, restaurant, leisure facility, visitor destination or wider multi-site portfolio, we can look at how the venue operates, where staff need support, how access is managed and what level of security presence or response best fits the environment.
