Group Development Director

David Marchio

More than three decades of security-sector experience across national accounts, retail security, mobilisation and multi-site service development.

CAREER & EXPERIENCE

Experience that informs the operation

David has more than three decades of experience in the security sector, with an earlier background in retail and hospitality management. His career has centred on understanding complex client requirements and translating them into security operations that can be delivered consistently across multiple locations.

Before joining Dean’s Group, David spent many years in senior leadership at Brooknight Security, where he served as National Accounts Director. Publicly documented work from that period includes national retail and multi-site security contracts, workforce technology, screening and vetting improvements, and the development of systems to support rapidly growing security operations.

His experience includes national-account development, mobilisation, operational systems, retail loss-prevention environments and the management of large geographically dispersed service requirements.

APPROACH

How that experience shapes delivery

David’s work is focused on the point where client requirements, commercial design and operational reality meet. That means understanding what a client is trying to achieve, identifying the operating pressures behind the requirement and building a model that can be mobilised and managed in practice.

His national-account background also brings a strong focus on consistency, measurement and the systems needed to maintain visibility across larger contracts.
