Work for Us

Build your security career within a managed operation

We recruit professional security officers, Door Supervisors and Stewards to support client sites and live events across the environments in which we operate.

The role is more than holding a licence. We look for people who can represent the client environment professionally, follow site-specific responsibilities, communicate clearly and remain dependable when the operation needs them.

Working with us

What you can expect from the operation around you

Security officers work within a wider managed service. Recruitment, site briefing, supervision and operational support all influence what the job feels like day to day.

01

Direct employment

Our guarding teams are employed directly by Innovative Security Solutions rather than routinely supplied through subcontracted guarding arrangements.

02

Site-specific briefing

Roles are shaped around the client environment. Assignment instructions, access arrangements, escalation routes and local responsibilities need to be understood before the service is delivered.

03

Supervision & support

Officers are supported by supervisors, managers and our control-room operation, with welfare, escalation and service issues able to move through an agreed route.

04

Training & development

Role and site requirements are supported through briefing, ongoing development and additional training where the operation requires it.

What we look for

Professional behaviour matters as much as presence

Licensing is essential where the role requires it, but the way an officer communicates, follows instructions and represents the site is equally important.

01

Correct licence for the role

Where licensable activity is involved, applicants need the appropriate current SIA licence for the duties they are expected to carry.

02

Reliability

Security operations depend on people arriving prepared, on time and ready to carry the responsibilities agreed for the site or event.

03

Professional communication

Officers may interact with clients, staff, visitors, residents, contractors or members of the public. Calm and clear communication matters.

04

Attention to site instructions

Every environment is different. We expect officers to understand assignment instructions, access arrangements, reporting requirements and escalation routes.

05

Sound judgement

Good security work often means recognising what is normal, identifying when something has changed and knowing when to act or escalate.

06

Respect for the environment

A hospital, residential development, corporate reception and live event all require different styles of presence. The role needs to fit the environment.

Recruitment process

From initial interest to the right role and site

We review expressions of interest against current and upcoming operational requirements. The aim is to establish suitability before progressing somebody into a client environment.

01

Submit your details

Provide the personal, contact and availability information requested below so Recruitment has the information needed to begin the review.

02

Application review

Recruitment reviews the information provided against current or upcoming security requirements and the working patterns available.

03

Licence & suitability checks

Where there is a potential fit, Recruitment can confirm the relevant SIA licence, eligibility and employment requirements directly with you.

04

Recruitment contact & next steps

Suitable applicants can then be contacted to discuss the requirement, any further checks and, where appropriate, onboarding and assignment briefing.

Training & development

Professional standards continue after recruitment

Joining the business is the start of the operational relationship. Site familiarisation, assignment briefing, supervision and ongoing development all help officers understand what is expected in the environment they support.
